About Gebhard & Son Tree Service

Mike Gebhard, Sr. is a Lancaster area native and has been in the tree care business since 1976. Mike Sr., accompanied by his wife Sonia, (married 35 years and counting) worked first in Minnesota, and later in New York, before returning home to the Lancaster area to stay.

Since 1986, Gebhard & Son Tree Service has been a locally owned and operated tree service, focused on providing quality tree care. Over time Mike Sr. found that he had the right mind set and the willingness to perform the jobs others couldn't. The focus shifted to emergency tree care.

In 1993, Mike Jr., then 15 years old, started working part time for the family business, and in 1996 became a full time employee.
